Night Sketches

by Neil Campbell

supported by
Peter Critchley
Peter Critchley thumbnail
Peter Critchley A mellow and highly original classical style album from a guitar virtuoso. Simple instrumentation ... guitar only. And that’s enough. Only a master musician could sustain interest for close on an hour. Campbell does, using his exceptional and original classical style guitar to conjure up so many pictures, ideas, emotions, and places as soundscapes. Contemplative and beautiful. There is a lucidity and a majesty to Neil’s playing, and this shines through on this record. Favorite track: Night Sketch 4.
